Stainless steel is known for its hardness and is used for utensils, tableware, sinks, and small appliances. It is considered to be iron that contains more than 10 percent chromium. It is used to resist stains but can occasionally dull or can show finger prints. There is a little bit of chromium used to form a hard oxide coating on the surface. This can rust as regular steel, if it becomes corroded. Need to clean a glass stove?

General Tips on Cleaning Stainless Steel and Keeping it Shiny

Cleaning Stainless Steel Sinks: To cut down scratches and marks caused by pans and tableware, put down rubber or plastic mats in the sink.
