How do you get rid of mold w/o bleach? 7 Months ago Karma: 0
I recently discoverd some mold in my room and also in my crawlspace. I don't want to use the bleach and water solution because I've heard it doesn't completely get rid of all the mold. Is there another way that anyone knows of? I'm thinking about probably just calling in professionals like IndoorRestore, but if anyone has any other suggestions I'd be open to them.

Some other good household items that might work are vinegar and baking soda. If they don't work, there are mold-specific soaps on the market that you could try. Good luck!

Ok, I'll look into that. It is an awful lot of mold though, so I may have to check in with the pro's. I had mentioned that I had found IndoorRestore. If anyone has heard anything about them, it would be very helpful for me

I've decided for sure to use IndoorRestore (indoorrestore.com) and I'll post my thoughts on them in the next week or so.

I suggest you also run a dehumidifier to prevent molds to grow in your house.

I have used the bleach to get rid of mold and it really works efficiently. However new mold will rebuild rapidly. First you require removing the elements that let the mold to reproduce. In crawlspaces is almost too much dampness thus placing a steam on the ground and letting air movement and eliminating the mold.
