In my opinion, painting on your bedroom should blend well with the colors of your wall. Also, I suggest that you can also try to use some photographs aside from painting as a design on your bedroom. Much better if it some photos that you've taken.

There are all different ways to decorate without painting. If your walls don't need repainting then new pictures, bedding, and decor and accents can do the trick. Just changing the color of the curtains and bedding makes a whole lot of difference. Good Luck in what you decide.

If you want to paint your bedroom blue with deep purple stripes for instance paint the walls the blue first. If it's water base paint and your doors or windows are open while painting it dries quickly and you can sleep in the room the same evening.

I always used to change the place of the lights. For instance try using some halogen or LED spots in different places.

Well, if you don't want to paint it, you put some wallpapers to your bedroom. I think you must consider the color of your ceiling and floor in choosing the best color and design of your wallpaper.

It is not necessary to decorate bedroom by just painting, there are a lot of ways to decorate your bedroom by using wooden wallpaper, beautiful pots, and attractive sceneries.

Although they are costly, they are worth the money spent on them and if you want, you can lower the costs by painting the wall yourself. Textured painting is always done on any one wall which is unbroken and smooth and free from windows or doors or shelves or beams. The other walls are left bare or are painted in pristine whites or pale creams or beiges to offset the stark look and drama on the textured wall.Although they are costly, they are worth the money spent on them and if you want, you can lower the costs by painting the wall yourself. There are many ways to introduce color and personality to your room without having to paint your walls. I always recommend that people frame photos or art and arrange them in an interesting display on their focal wall to draw attention the artwork rather than the walls. You can also invest in colorful accessories such as pillows, comforter sets and rugs that will enhance your room and make it more dimensional. If you have access to thrift stores, it's always fun to find a unique piece of furniture and paint it a wild color. Using a variety of textures and colors which are complimentary will quickly take the focus off your walls.

Think of fabric hangings as wallpaper without the commitment. You'll need starch, a paint roller, a paint pan and a chosen fabric.
Measure and cut the cloth according to the dimensions of the wall--or portion of the wall--to be decorated, put the starch into a paint pan and apply the starch to the part of the wall to be decorated with a paint roller. Hold the fabric in place with tacks and gently but firmly smooth it out with a flat object to eliminate bumps and bubbles. The Rental Decorating website recommends making certain the starch adheres to the fabric evenly as you smooth your way across the entire fabric section, all the while starching the wall underneath as needed.
Before decorating a wall with fabric, first decide whether you'll want to cover an entire wall or create a wall hanging with a frame around it.
To position a second fabric panel, match the design along the edge. Repeat steps.
Around windows and doors, leave a 1-inch overlap as with the ceiling and floor.
Fabric overlap should be cut when the fabric is completely dry. It will then cut clean and easily, and any shrinkage will have occurred before you trim.
When using a stiffener in spray bottle, be sure to mask the edges of the ceiling and floor to avoid over spray. To remove fabric from a wall, peel one corner loose, then gently begin to peel the fabric off the wall panel by panel. If the fabric does not peel easily, dampen the fabric with water using a wet sponge, and it should come right off.
