Generally i sell people nowadays using stainless steel shelves.
By the way for me i like wooden one as they can be made with special designing in them.
Which type of shelves are you using ?
I prefer wooden one.

Even i have wooden shelves and they are food enough.
I personally don't like steel shelves. As wooden ones are easy to use without any sound and also look much better than those steel shelves.

Same here, even i have got wooden shelves and i think they are the best.
Even the guests coming to my house love the designing of my wooden shelves.

Well, I am also having wooden shelves.
Its easy to keep clothes clean in the wooden shelves.
Also we get different design and colors on these wooden shelves.

wooden in my house,especially for clothes and stuff like that,,, but I think steel ones will be nice too for a room decoration if really nicely make them up

I have wooden. I still like the look of them more for my office versus steel. But for the outdoors and working outside I prefer steel for sure. More rugged.

It all depends on what kind of shelves we're talking about. For books or clothes, I prefer wood. For tools or kitchenware, I prefer steel.

This is one of the method of remove paint from wooden shelves.Several methods to do it all require some work. There are liquid strippers. I think using the citrus inside is best, cover your work area to protect it. Sand to get the last little bits off. You can use a heat gun, and scrape the paint off with a putty knife, or just sand until you get it off.dining chair

For me it depends on the situation, for racking and shelving at home I'd prefer wooden ones. Wooden materials are eye catching, light, and clean, you can even made them yourself. I also have a DVD rental store, and I use steel racks and shelves for that purpose cause they're strong.

I also like wooden shelves. It is echo friendly also. It is not so costly.
