I have just moved into a new home and we were aware as some works needed to be done when we bought it. The wall at the basement which was concrete was plastered and the surface looks uneven. What can be done to correct that?

It looks like you are refering to concrete floor finish. If you would want to have a smooth finish there are plenty of ways by which you can achieve this. One is by plastering the entire floor again or you can fix up some floor tiles

Hello Friends.........

Plaster protects structure from temperature variations; external attacks of sulphates, chlorides, etc. Plaster also provides smooth & aesthetic surface on RCC & Brickwork surface.

Thanks

Why not furnish it or finish with a smooth cement and paint it?
