HELP!

Hi, my husband and I just recently bought a house earlier this year and its a real fixer-upper. We've been renovating it for the past few months and at this point we're on to the bathroom.

We're now debating between installing a shower or a walk-in bathtub. I personally love jacuzzis so a walk-in tub would be perfect for me. There are so many options available when it comes to choosing a new bath tub or replacing an old one though. Bath tubs can come in a variety of shapes, sizes, colors, styles and functions, so it's always a good idea to look around for one that's best for you. I would like to try a new kind of acrylic bath fixture with innovative functional features, like hydrotherapy. I am seriously considering investing in a walk in bath tub.

So far I came across this site and it seems to have the best deals

www.ellasbubbles.com

What do you guys think? Any ideas?

Thanks
Ellas

Walk-In tubs are a pretty big deal, but if that's what you want and you can afford it, then why not?

I have heard these are great. They do from what I hear take mroe water, just make sure you go with a reputable brand for the warranty. One you get one from what I understand you will never go back to the other.

Hello Friends........

Walk-in bathtubs, also called safety tubs, allow users to enter without climbing in. Watertight doors swing open when the tub is empty, creating an entryway rarely more than a few inches above the floor. Once the bather is properly seated, oversized faucet controls make water temperature adjustments much easier than in a traditional bathtub. Walk-in bathtubs may also contain hand-held shower nozzles, standard shower heads and/or jacuzzi-style therapeutic water jets.

Thanks

Very nice link Jensen. Well I guess a walk-in bathtub is a bit expensive.

Definitely do your home work and research on these walk in bathtubs. Its a big investment and it is something that you will be with for a while. You want the best for your money. You also can check out Charlotte walk in bathtubs for American made tubs. They have been in this industry for many years and have great customer service. They will educate you on the different types and which model works for your requirements.

I agree with Plumbing and lighting that if you can afford it, why not go for it? I have another site to refer if you haven't already made up your mind on walk in tubs. They have Ameriglide tubs. Good luck
