There are many reasons why a dryer will not work.  The best thing to do is to try to troubleshoot the problem.  This article is designed to help you determine the problem and come up with some quick and easy steps to fix the problem.  If you try these troubleshooting tips and your dryer still does not work, you may need to contact a professional or purchase a new one.  However, it is wise to try these clothes dryer repair tips first to save you a lot of time and money. Warning:  Before doing any electrical work, turn the power off at the fuse box and not just the dryer.
